How long have you been with Community First Solutions?
"I have recently rejoined the CFS family but I previously worked in dining services when I was a teen and I have also worked for CFS as an LPN, MDS Coordinator, and Nurse Manager."
Describe your role.
"I oversee the quality assurance and infection prevention programs for CFS to ensure standards are met within the state and federal regulatory guidelines."
What was your first job?
"Cashier at Hills Department Store in Hamilton."
What three words would you use to describe your leadership style?
"Goal-oriented, Thought-provoking, Educator."
You just got home from a day of work, what do you do to decompress?
"Chatting with my husband in the kitchen while we cook dinner together."
What passions do you have outside of your career that your colleagues would be surprised to know?
"I love event and party planning and home decorating. Friends and family are always asking for my help in these areas."
It’s Saturday at 6pm during the summer, where might we find you?
"Floating in my pool with my husband, our kids and our two doodles."
Do you have a favorite inspirational quote?
"If you don’t know where you are going, every road will lead to nowhere.” Henry A. Kissinger. Former Secretary of State. I am a huge goal setter and dream chaser. I pick a road, and if I come to a dead-end I start paving one myself."
What book is on your nightstand/what podcast are currently listening to?
"Where the Crawdads Sing. This is the third time trying to read this book. I can’t seem to get passed the first several chapters. But with the movie being released soon I am going to give it another go."
What is your Why?
"My why is serving others, both residents and staff. Having the privilege of serving our residents is such a rewarding opportunity. Our residents have paved the road for us, they once have lived and walked where we are now in our lives. Being in a leadership role also affords me the opportunity to serve the CFS staff. It is with their help and dedication to our organization and to our residents that enable me to serve. "
